Hi everyone,
Yesterday was Brandon’s 26th birthday! Joining his mom, aunts and grandmother were about 10 of his closest friends praising God for another year. I told him I would update the blog and give everyone his love and heartfelt appreciation. This past month has certainly been a test of faith and endurance for Brandon and his family. But Brandon keeps going, keeps pushing and keeps inspiring all of us. I can remember one of the very first things Brandon said when we met and what he states on the blog:
“I don’t know what the next chapter of my life holds. The rest of my story, like anyone else’s, is yet to be told. But as each day unfolds, I believe God and the promise He gives us in Jeremiah 29:11, and so I trust Him and the plans He has in store.”
Yesterday Brandon’s hospital room was turned into a sanctuary. Testimonies and stories given, laughs shared, songs and prayers uplifted. One particular scripture was shared that really encompasses Brandon’s life: 1 Corinthians 13. “…And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love (v13).” What Brandon continues to give without even saying a word is that message of LOVE.
Brandon, we believe by faith that greater days are ahead. We thank God for your life and the love you share, despite it all. We are inspired by your strength, your grace and humility. We know with God all things are possible. And so we pray that He continues to do the miraculous in your life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen!
